Jon Doe English 102 Professor Blank June 4, 2020 The War on Empathy The world is now in a shamble Fighting for rights seems a gamble Blacks lost the right to live Killers lack the sorrow to give People have resorted to looting For their cries others are muting Protestors are greeted with guns But won’t dare to flee or run Mother’s hold their son’s tight As they refuse to lose this fight Should they fight to be free? What will the fight guarantee? All people want is to be equal Will it come as part of the sequel? What’s happening to human nature? Our empathy continues to denature
