to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of a strategy, one must examine the links the strategy has to the objectives as well as how the plan has been formulated to achieve them and the means that the plan intend to use. A strategy will only be effective is the resources allocated are used according to the plan and ultimately delivers the expected results (Chron, 2020). Therefore, one must continuously evaluate the resources as well as the performance to ensure that the strategy hits the planned target. The strategic drivers must also consider specific goal and the appropriate measurement of the progress of the goals. A base value must also be established from before strategy implementation and track the progress.

For the measurements to be resourceful in the annual evaluation of strategy effectiveness, then the targets must be achievable and relevant to the implemented strategy while the results should be present on time. One should also identify the results that depicts lagging performance where resources should be added or corrective action plan implemented. The measurements should also help in deciding whether to keep on implementing the strategy or consider developing more effective approaches. Further, a balanced scorecard is also effective in providing the overview of the organization progress by tracking a small number of key measures (Edwards et al., 2014). A balanced scorecard also help the managers to monitor a diverse set of important measures.

There is a slight difference between measures and strategic Drivers. When looking at measures we are looking at what judges if a strategic plan works or if it doesn't. Where the strategic drivers are the collection of data that supports and helps us accomplish our goals. It is very interesting that they complement each other in a sense. You have to take different measures in order to focus in on the drivers such as people, growth, profit, cash and different assets even.

The question was how would you determine the appropriate measurements and strategic drivers to assess annually. The best way to go about it would be to examine how it links your objectives to the way you plan to achieve the goals and the means you plan to use them. The right framework has to be in place, if its thrown together, there is to much room for errors. Its also very important that you have the proper people to help make sure that the goals are met. If someone doesn't care or is not on the same page it could literally put things behind or throw a wrench in the plans.

The ideas you have stated are just and appropriate. Not only that, I also agree to your perspective of how important it is for the target to align with the strategies planned for implementation in order to achieve the desirable outcome. It is very much necessary that the planner has a clear vision of the target in mind so as to prepare the route map for reaching that target. The target should also...
