TIP PROVIDED BY TUTOR

Hello everyone,

We have noted that some students are not very clear on SNUG303 Assessment 1 (Essay).

Here is another way of looking at it.Let’s suppose you have completed your BN and have been invited to attend GradStart interview. The Panel asks you to describe the clinical governance framework. In response you will be expected to identify and demonstrate knowledge of a selected clinical governance framework. This is exactly whatPart 1of the essay is asking you do (40%) This should be straight-forward as you have completed the SNUG303 Module 2 and Tutorial 2 which focused on Clinical Governance includingThe National Model Clinical Governance Framework, 2017.

The interview panel will then ask you to explain how you will use this framework in your day-to-day practice as a New Graduate Registered Nurse (This isPart 2of the essay requirement – You will also be required to reflect on how the key elements of your chosen clinical governance framework will inform your future clinical practice as Registered Nurse (30%). Again, this isn’t complex but requires you to think of the ways in which you will contribute to continuous improvement, quality and maintaining high standards as a nurse ect for example what will you do specifically to promote aSafe environment for the delivery of care?or how will youPartner with consumers?

We hope this guides you in the right direction.
