The format you choose is up to you – Powerpoint, Prezi, Canva, etc.

In this project, tell me about a move to a new city/house (real or fictional).

· When/where did you move? (passé composé)

· Describe the house. Where are the rooms in relation to other rooms? (sur, sous, etc)

· Did you miss your old town/house/friends?
(Unit 15, lesson 1 Rosetta Stone)

· The house needs cleaning and repairs. Describe what needed to be done/what was done/who did the repairs? (cleaning supplies, damage, electrician/plumber, etc)
(Unit 15, lesson 2 Rosetta Stone)

· Describe meeting the neighbours – what were they like? (gêné/inquiet?) Describe what you were about to do/what you just finished doing (être sur le point de/venir de..) when you met them.
(Unit 15, lesson 3 Rosetta Stone)

· Make plans to go out with the new friend/neighbour. Tell them (imperative) to meet you someplace (sortir) and plan to go there (y/en).
(Unit 15, lesson 4 Rosetta Stone)

When/ Where did you Move?
We moved from a small city Hunspac
h in France to New York City in USA
There were lot of ups-down during this movement but gave me & my family lot of exposure to embrace the cross-cultural aspect of life
I was mere 10 year old when I moved to New-York city, United States of America from small city in France. Essentially, my father was working with a multi-national firm and offered him a bigger role in headquarters, located in NYC. This transfer was a long-term assignment based on growth of the project in near future. Therefore, my entire family moved to not only a different city but also a different country. My family included, my parents, myself and my younger brother. I still remember my home was filled with boxes that will encapsulate the most adored objects as well as important items that were required to be transferred to another city. Although, we had our own home in Hunspach so many things were left back since we planned to come back during festivals.

Describe the house. Where are the rooms in relation to other rooms
“It’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” - Neil Armstrong
It was a journey to uproot myself from place I used to call home and get comfortable in the apartment structure of new city.
Majority of residential area in the New-York are more like apartments in the flat/building. It was very wired to get accustomed to the fact that I wouldn't be having a terrace or a garden where I can sip coffee or play with my brother. Indeed, it was much smaller or perhaps compact home relative to where we used to live. Rooms were connected with each other but I used to feel they had much less space than my earlier home. Almirah and cupboard were stacked in the walls to leave space in the rooms....
