Consider the following conference scenario: A Canadian National Association is holding a conference for 150 people at the Chelsea Hotel Toronto. Each group will develop an appropriate agenda for this event. Additionally, the appropriate function rooms to be used along with the most appropriate room layout for the respective function will be identified. Each group will use the floor plan and seating capacity chart provided. The parameters for the event are as follows: o One Day o 8 am to 5 pm o Registration desk for two staff o Trade Show with 20 booths; 10 ft. x 10 ft. booths o Meal functions including Breakfast and Lunch (buffet style), and two coffee breaks o Opening Plenary session o Closing Plenary session o Six (6) concurrent breakout sessions o Conference office for staff and storage For this assignment: o Develop an appropriate agenda, with appropriate timelines and function spaces for all aspects of this conference and tradeshow.
