Part 1) A team member approaches you about a new program need where they would like toidentify a set of teacher recruiters (up to 225) hired by the office to support a subset of high priority schools in recruiting teachers to fill vacancies.The role will be staffed by current teachers and will use per session to pay the recruiter no more than 25 hours total. The teachers will be selected at the school level but the tracking of their time and payroll will be managed by TRQ. This is a new project for the team member and she will need your support in developing a system for tracking April 1 – June 30 as well as management of payments to ensure that compensation the teachers is seamless and we won’t exceed the overall budget of $295,000.


Task


1.Review the TRQ budget document and consider which funding source you might use to pay for the positions. Write an email to your supervisor including all of your considerations in order to make a determination as to which budget to use to fund the initiative. Please include people you might want to consult and key questions to consider.



2.Develop a project plan for you and the team member to ensure that teachers are accurately paid and you stay on budget.Please note the assumptions you have made in developing the project plan.

·Hourly per session rate is 52.41 (contractual)


·Tax levy funding doesn’t require accounting for fringe but use of a federal grant/reimbursable includes an additional %.
