Description:
‘The social determinants of health are the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work and age. These circumstances are shaped by the distribution of money, power and resources at global, national and local levels. The social determinants of health are mostly responsible for health inequities - the unfair and avoidable differences in health status seen within and between countries’ (World Health Organisation 2017).

Instructions for Individual critiques:
· As an Individual, find a service or program that is being delivered to Aboriginal and/or Torres Islander peoples.
· You are welcome to choose any of the 8 social determinants, including the one you did the group presentation on. This is an opportunity to select a social determinant that resonates with you or the specific service/program that you are interested in.
· Write a 500-word critical analysis of the service that includes a brief description (1-2 sentences only) of the service.
· The emphasis must be on critically analysing what, how, when, where, the social determinant is or is not being addressed and how the service/program might be improved.
