The need
to belong refers to the human emotional incitements to be accepted by the groups in the society. It is not just acceptance but also involves the importance of a person in the group. A person with a stronger the need to belong puts in more effort to stabilize long lasting relationships with other people in his groups. Such person tends to live closer to their social acquaintances and spends more time with them. They are driven to participate more in social activities. A person with strong need to belong often is patient and accepts the comforts and convenience of the other person in the relationship. It is evident that people with strong sense of belongingness are more social and extrovert which fits my behavior.
    Pertaining to the above ideas I feel that my need to belong is strong enough.

Management of dialectical tension is an important aspect to sustain the close relationships. It is obvious that a relationship between two people must balance between predictability and novelty. The balance between predictability and novelty refers the pull between seeking behavioral patterns that have the stability and the desire for spontaneity.
    To maintain the predictability in the relationship it is obvious to maintain the consistency, dependability and reliability in the relationship. I try to inculcate these values to some extent in the relationship. However, too much predictability leads to boredom. Hence, there must be novelty in the relationship that would provide exposure to new experiences. This provides a new dimension of uniqueness in the relationship.
