1.0 Introduction
It is the duty of healthcare professionals has to implement effective tools and methods for improving the overall performance of the organization. In the case of a non-profit healthcare organization, they have to consider different factors while implementing strategic initiatives or plans. In this research paper, we are analysing the strategic initiatives implemented by the non-profit organization Northwell Health organization.
 2.0 Body
Northwell Health is a New York-based non-profit healthcare network and the organization started the operation in the year of 1997. More than 70000 employees are working in the organization. The organization is planning to implement CDSS and they want to expand their operations to other places. Now we can analyze the various aspects related to the implementation of strategic initiatives.  
2.1 History or rationale for the proposed strategic initiative, including industry trend data and other relevant research.
The functional definition of the C-clinical D-decision S-support S-system was provided by Robert Hayward. He is Professor of Medicine at the University of Alberta. Most of the healthcare organizations are using CDSS for providing better services to the people. Medical error poses a severe challenge for the patient lives in the health care industry. Patient security is the foremost factor in the health care industry. One of the technology benefits for health industry is the C-clinical D-decision S-support S-system (CDSS) (Lim et al 2019). The CDSS is the interactive software system. The system implemented on this concept of the expert system. The system provides support as well as assist for the decision-making process in the health industry. various users of such decision support system are staff in health care industries, physicians, as well as other people those are related with health care domain.  Health observations are related to health knowledge to provide efficient health decisions.

While analysing the diagram we can understand that the need for CDSS is increasing and most of the countries and healthcare companies are using CDSS for improving the quality of the healthcare services. The CDSS use artificial intelligence features to offer decisions in the health care industry. CDSS is an active knowledge system. The system has current and updated medical knowledge. The system focuses on knowledge management. It provides medical advice based on current health affairs. The physician and health staff use this active system for better analysis, diagnosis to save human life. Formerly, the health staff or physician provide information to the CDSS and get out or decision from the system (Kerr et al 2019). Modern technologies have built-in CCDSS to better analysed the patient and provide a decision.  
CDSS is not the replacement choice for health care professionals.
