Plan Reading/Estimating Problem (Please consult the reflected ceiling plan in Figure 17.4 of the class text on page 460): On the subject reflected ceiling plan (a portion of the actual plan), can lights are shown as (circular shapes that are either empty or half-filled (clear/shaded). The half-filled circles generally note that the can lights have another feature such as are dimmable or may be for emergency lighting purposes, etc. There are also 2'x4' fluorescent troffers shown by their rectangular shape on the reflected ceiling plan. [Note: For those not familiar with reflected ceiling plans, this is the view that one would get if they were lying with their back down on the floor looking straight up at the ceiling.)
