INTRODUCTION
Change management is an important part of any organisation at present. Through changes,
organisations can identify the different areas in which they need to be careful to perform
more efficiently or become more capable of meeting the growing demands of the customers.

Without any organisational changes, an organisation cannot grow, it cannot solve the
problems it has been facing or bring about new innovative measures for performing tasks or
expanding its services. However, at the same time even when change is implemented within
an organisation, if not done by following the important procedures, it can again even bring
losses to the company. Within this assignment the change management process that has been
adopted by Cadbury would be discussed - the way they had implemented the changes process
and how these had made the entire process more successful. By analysing the change
management process of Cadbury it would be possible to get a good idea regarding the process
of change implementation.
THE CHANGE PROCESS
Cadbury is a very popular global confectionery company which sells various products of
chocolates, candies and gums. It was first opened in 1824, by John Cadbury in Birmingham.
The company has continued to expand its business since then and expanded into various
countries all around the world. The company aims at maintaining an unique and special
culture for achieving its objectives. It is driven mainly by values related to its
performance(Eyanuku, 2021). The main reason behind its success is the collection of a
performance scorecard, clear vision, sustainable commitments and properly decided priorities
which the organisation aims to work for. In all scenarios, performance, respect, responsibility,
integrity and quality is valued by the company. It understands the importance of having fun
along the process of change while listening to its suppliers, customers, shareowners,
communities and employees. By understanding and responding to the needs of these
companies, Cadbury can become a successful company (Pandey et. al, 2021).
The project named "Working Better Together" was a change process adapted by Cadbury
through which it aimed at building collaborative behaviour with the various departments of
the store as well as offices located in the different countries. This also aims at focusing on
engaging company stakeholders to instill the importance and value of CSR in order to
improve the company's business.
The name of the tool was "CSR Living Our Values Learning Tool" which reflected the
connection between Cadbury's values and CSR. The company understood the importance of
engagement of the entire organisation - the managers and the employees. That is why it has
implemented an efficient change management process. Some of the highlights of this process
would include (UK Essays, 2018):
