However, the policies are not capable of curbing completely the effects of terrorism but minimize it up to an extent. The anti terrorism policies are formulated in order to safeguard the nation’s interest regarding the peace and harmony prevailing in the country (Chunyangan, 2018).
National Terrorism Advisory System
    The national Terrorism Advisory System or the (NATS) was created to communicate the information’s about the possible terrorist threat by timely providing the detailed information to the government agencies, public and the first responder. However, the NATS was not completely capable of stopping the attacks but it plays an important part in minimising the impacts of the attack as well as deterring the terrorist attacks.
Targeted Violence and Terrorism Prevention
    The office for targeted violence and terrorism Prevention accomplishes a prevention mission by collaborating with the local publics and engaging them in the awareness and training programs and making the community and the peers aware of the several preventive measures to curb the terrorism in U.S. The main goal of the OTVTP is to empower the local community strength against the terrorism. The OTVTP though plays a very important role in stopping and deterring the terrorist activities. The strategic system formulated for the carrying over and implementation of the program is sheer effective and efficient.
