    AWS Human Resources Strategic Plan
1. Introduction to the operating context of AWS
The current situation in terms of external environmental factors is quite challenging for AWS and these situations would impact on AWS ability to acquire and maintain skilled resources which are required for smooth delivery of operations. The composition of Australian workforce has been changing in relation to factors such as age, sex, and ethnicity. Another challenge which is faced by AWS is lesser gender diversity in its workforce. There is a challenge which is faced by AWS which is lesser gender diversity in its workforce. At present, there are only 20% women in top leadership positions. Attainment of work-life balance is also an important area to be worked upon by AWS. Considering the requirement of allowing work from remote location owing to lockdown and social distancing requirements, the trainers are required to be friendly with use of digital platforms, learning management modules and videoconferencing tools, however only a small percentage of trainers are well versed with these.
2. Research findings
With the shift from face to face classes to online classes, the future demand for human resources will be low. However, there will a good demand for those trainers who are well versed with use of digital platforms and technology used in imparting trainings through virtual mode. In view of current market situation, it is expected that the supply of talent would be smooth as the current economic crisis due to Covid-19 has caused a lot of people to do jobs.
