Description
Case studies assess students’ understanding of concepts presented in weekly lectures
and tutorials by researching and analysing real life situations. This is a Group
assignment.
In this assignment, students are required to write a 2,500 to 2,600-word report. Students
are also required to submit a 5-6 minute PowerPoint presentation, with audio, discussing
the key points of the report. From the Insert tab, choose Insert Audio. Keep the narration
for each slide under 40 seconds.
• Identify two case studies of successful ERP implementations.
• For each case, explain why the ERP implementation project was considered a
success.
• For each case, discuss the factors that contributed to the success of the ERP
implementation project.
• What lessons can be learned from these cases?
You are required to use additional references to support your arguments. Your report
should be a synthesis of ideas researched from a variety of sources and expressed in
your own words. It should be written in clear English in electronic format as either a
Word document or a pdf file. This electronic file will be checked using Turnitin for any

which presents a summary of the report findings. The presentation should consist of at
least 10 to 12 slides including the title slide and references slide. Keep your narration

1. The four tenets of lean enterprise thinking provide a framework for making significant, long-lasting changes to an organization.
Principle 1: Adopt a Comprehensive Strategy for Enterprise Transformation
Two levels are required for change to be
effective: the crucial level, where improvement opportunities are assembled to achieve endeavor level benefits, and the strategic level, where limited upgrades are depicted. It is necessary to approach cognition and the many lifecycle activities (such as planning, moving forward, and fa
icating) in an all-encompassing manner.
Principle 2: Determine Relevant Stakeholders' Value Propositions and Identification
A coordinated element that effectively and really creates value for its many partners by employing lean principles and practices is what LAI defines as a lean endeavor. All partners do not need to be treated equally and the project does not always need to give each one of them anything of value.
Principle 3: Prioritize business effectiveness over efficiency
Proficiency is only one aspect of the overall ability to effectively communicate value to partners. Change initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency must primarily be examined at the interaction level. The transformation effort must thus focus on "doing the right thing" before "having everything done co
ectly."
Principle 4: Address Enterprise Interdependencies both Internal and External
According to LAI's change study, the project's boundaries hold some of the most promising opportunities for growth. Which parts of the project value stream come within the controls, effects, and imperatives focus points are identified by the limit? For instance, a project change effort that focuses on further improving the opportunity to market for new item familiarity must depict the internal relationships between the planning, manufacturing, and advertising value streams.
2.
Finance: Financial accounting, Administrative bookkeeping, resource management, depository executives, spending plan control, costing, and venture management.
Logistics: Creation planning, material management, plant support, the project board, executive-level events, etc.
Human resource: administration of personnel, training, and development, etc.
Supply chain: Controlling purchases and orders, planning, scheduling suppliers, etc.
Work flow: Integrate the entire organization by assigning duties and responsibilities in a flexible manner to various positions, locations, and jobs,...
