Examples of writing in first person (For reference only not to be copied)

I have chosen to reflect on the topic of euthanasia to demonstrate why this is of ethical importance (Shepherd, 2017).

I will use the Gibbs Reflective Model because I have found it easy to utilise compared to other models (Conroy, 2019). Based on my personality and style of learning, my preference lies within Gibbs’ reflective cycle. Gibbs’s model is divided into six steps (Smith, 2015). As I describe myself as an emotional individual this is very important to me to try and rationalise my actions (Dessi, 2016). Chenai (2013), states that this model allows people to reflect on their feelings and thought process, by analysing the situation a concentration is applied on what can be improved.

Gibbs (1988) reflective cycle encourages a description of the events with consideration for my feelings and thoughts, thus providing me with clarity towards my actions, enabling me to deduce any areas I can look to improve as well as the implementation of a plan for the forthcoming events (Wilding (2018).

According to Fry and Johnstone, (2018) evidence-based practice ensures practice is current and effective as treatments and procedures are ever evolving. As a nurse, I should therefore, be aware of changes through life-long learning opportunities in my career (Shepherd, 2017).

Reflection on one legal, moral and ethical aspect of clinical practice relevant to Field of Practice
Reflection on one legal, moral and ethical aspect of clinical practice relevant to Field of Practice
Assignment
Introduction
I have chosen to reflect on the topic of ethical, moral as well as legal aspect of clinical practice, nursing, safety of patient as well as public protection. With this deadly pandemic that has taken the entire world in its tentacles, I have observed that several healthcare professionals, doctor and nurses have gone above and beyond in ensuring that patient recovers and lessen the impact from the disease (Durgun, H., & Kaya, H., 2018). They have literally stretched themselves w
orking in gruelling shifts and barely getting time to see their family, eat or sleep. By the virtue of this report I will present my overview on the legal, moral and ethical issues faced by nurses and several other health care professionals. The nature of health care and nursing is such that it is filled with tremendous amount of dilemma that questions morals, ethics and legalities at every stage. It is very critical to comprehend such issues and has a strong relevance in the professional practice. By the virtue of this assignment I understand that the ethical issues and care is not mandated rather it is inherent in code of conduct of each profession. However, if one is derelict in one's responsibilities then he or she may be subject to legal or moral impacts. Something like taking informed consent is an ethical as well as legal process that includes providing information by the health care professional and service provider.
Reflection on Legal Concepts in Medical Practice & Healthcare
Legal aspect in nursing are basically laws that are laid out, ordained as well as established in order to guide particular action or code of conduct prescribed by the controlling authority. This has strong binding legal force which must be followed by citizens those are subjected to several sanctions as well as legal influence (Ulrich, B., & Kear, T., 2014). I would like to explain the underlying law of constitution which forms the basis of every governing set of rules as well as principles which enlightens the power government as well as consequent rights of people. Essentially, constitutional law is laid out in the constitution which generally combines the explanation of how such principles is explained and implemented forms the strong pillar of constitutional law. I feel second source of law is Statutory and Legislative. These are formal laws that are written and implemented by federal, state as well as local legislatures. Basically, these are designed to command, forbid and declare actions in any domain especially concerning with healthcare and public protection. Lastly, the third important source of law is Administrative law that includes various operations of several government agencies. State, local as well as National government are designed to establish administrative agencies to perform work. These agencies soothe and regulates many activities like public health, education, social well-being and welfare initiatives as well as professionals. When statutory are levied as well as enacted, many administrative institutions are provided authority to extend particular actions of the statues thereby establishing rules and regulations that can enforce the laws of statutory. In healthcare profession, law that deeply influence action is Common Law. As per this law it questions the principles rather than processes and procedures of rules. It holds its ground on rational, justice and common sense (Dehnavieh, R., Ebrahimipour, H., Jafari Zadeh, M., Dianat, M., Noori Hekmat, S., & Mehrolhassani, M. H., 2013). According to system of common law, all the decisions are based on the court rulings and precedents in earlier cases. Second very important type of law that influences the healthcare domain. Public law describes rights of the person and one's duties in tandem with government. This law also explains the numerous divisions of government and their powerful influence. In fact, criminal law is also part of public law which entails with crimes and various actions that can be regarded as harmful to the society. By the virtue of this research, I delve deeper in the Criminal Law that refers to regulating all the actions and forbidding anything that can be deemed as harmful or offensive to the community. For instance, if any action is prohibited or forbidden by the norms or by the principles of common law then all those actions can be considered as criminal actions. Another very important legal concept that draws attention of any person aspire to succeed in healthcare needs to know is Private Law also known as Civil Law (Mohaghegh, B., Ravaghi, H., Mannion, R., Heidarpoor, P., & Sajadi, H. S., 2016). Primarily it is used to differentiate the area of law concerned with duties as well as rights. Strongly divided into various legal forms like contract law, tort law, labour law among others. In last decade, there have been many new growths in fields of healthcare and medicine that have tremendously transformed the domain of practicing medicine and implementing healthcare. This has made it possible to diagnose the problem promptly and far more accurately. At the same time, since new treatments are brought in the domain and new changes are incorporated, professionals in healthcare are vulnerable to new challenges in legally and ethically. Indeed, healthcare space is controlled by set of regulations, rules, laws as well as ethical standards. These laws are curated in such a way that it can protect people when taking critical decision about their health treatment. The laws also demarcate duties about employees of healthcare. Therefore, these legitimate norms are set by administrative laws, moral principles don't really have a lawful premise. Legitimate guidelines are valuable as they help individuals to comprehend what they are not permitted to do, though moral norms are fundamentally founded on human standards of good and bad. With legitimate norms set up, specialists are permitted to implement rules when individuals accomplish something unlawful, while moral guidelines need such guideline. I feel one of the most crucial concepts of law that is quite prevalent in the domain of healthcare is about Malpractice. It is the type of negligence that is committed by an individual in his or her professional ability. Furthermore, stricter than ordinary negligence since malpractice is type of negligence which in any professional delinquency and wrongdoing or any mistake or lack of adherence to accepted norms can create serious injury to the patient.
Reflection on Ethical & Moral Aspect in Medical Practice & Healthcare

Clinical misbehaviour is a lawful flaw by a doctor or specialist. Offices or other medical services elements can likewise be held obligated for bothersome...
