This unit's discussion has 4 parts :

1. List and briefly explain the 6 myths and misconceptions about love that Solomon explores in About Love.Use this week's reading by Solomon. The video lecture will help you too! (Please don’t substitute using the lecture for the reading; the lecture is meant to help you understand the reading and organize your thoughts, but should not be used in place of the reading.)

2. Considering your own personal experience, how have these myths and misconceptions shaped your experience of love?Don’t just make a value judgment (as in “it's made my life more difficult and confusing”); explain HOW your experience has been shaped by any and/or all of them.

3. List and explain the 4 key claims that Robert C. Solomon makes about love(it will be a lot easier if you watch this week's video lecture!). Again, use this week’s reading by Solomon.

4. Discuss how this 4-part definition of love might change how love is experienced, approached, and conducted(by you or a hypothetical person).
