Instructions: Please go to this website: https://climate.nasa.gov/ You’ll be exploring climate change on the NASA website, and delving deeper into the evidence to support the existence of climate change, its causes/effects, and ways in which it can be mitigated. Once you’ve clicked on the above link, scroll down to the section on climate change. It will look something like this: Please explore each of the 4 sections shown in the image above, and write a 1-2 page double-spaced essay summarizing the key points about climate change as highlighted on the website. Be sure to include information from each of the 4 sections.

The prolonged changes in temperature, precipitation, wind patterns, and other climate indicators that occur over a period of many decades or longer are collectively referred to as "climatic change." A complex phenomenon results from both natural and artificial processes. The terms "climate change" and "global warming," which explicitly refer to the rise in average global temperature, are sometimes used interchangeably.
Evidence
There is a plenty of solid data supporting climate change. It contains climate models performed on computers as well as global temperature, sea level, and ice cover observations. Key supporting documentation includes:
· A rise in the world's average temperature: Since the late 1800s, the average worldwide temperature has increased by around 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius). The rise in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is the main reason for this warming.
· Melting ice: Sea levels are increasing as a result of the unprecedented rate at which glaciers and ice sheets are melting (Piao et al., 2019).
· Changes in precipitation patterns are occurring in many locations, resulting in more severe droughts and floods.
· Weather patterns are changing due to climate change, which also affects wind patterns, storm tracks, and other weather-related factors.
· Ocean acidification: The ocean absorbs around 25% of the...
