However, there are a number of issues that are faced with the current situation of the e-commerce organizations. The issues are generally faced with the delivery of the product for the e-commerce organizations. Hence, the need for the implementation of the drone services for the delivery of the products (Cattaruzza et al., 2017). This would reduce the anomalies that occur in the system and improve the overall efficiency of the system. Purpose and justification The main purpose of the project is to evolve the delivery process of the e-commerce systems. The drone delivery system would also be helpful in the improvement of the customer satisfaction of the organizations (Reynolds et al. 2016). The project would also be helpful in maintain a good relationship in between the customers and the business and also relationship of the staffs of the system with that of the company would be improved to a great extent. Hence, the organization would anticipate towards the development of the project Research Questions The research question that are to be addressed by the implementation of the project are: · How the short time technical viability of drone delivery system can be measured? · How can the drone delivery system maximize the overall throughput of the e-commerce system? · What would be the main benefit that company would gain due to deployment of the drone delivery system for the e-commerce organization? Conceptual or Theoretical Framework The conceptual framework for the Drone Delivery System has been described below: Input Process Output Select the product for delivery Select the address for delivery Select the time and date for the delivery of the product. The product selected by the customer is being processed. The location detection for the delivery of the product is being done The scheduling of the delivery is processed The product is packed and made ready for delivery. The location for delivery is uploaded on the drone. The delivery is done by the drone. Methodology The object-oriented methodology is being selected for the development of the project. Different objects are to be selected for the implementation of the system (Revellino & Mouritsen, 2017). Methods are to be created for the deployment in the system. The different classes are to be included in the system so that the methods can be implemented in them. Analysis of sources of information The information sources used for this specific project include journals, books, articles, blogs etc. According to Jones (2017), the primary obstacles for delivering drone usage in each country are always widely highlighted these days. The commercial drone regulations are varied substantially for different countries. It is the responsibility of the regulatory body to adopt recent new technology based laws. Research method In order to prepare this project mixed research design and method approach is being followed in terms of both primary and secondary. A questionnaire has been prepared to gather primary data and journals, blogs; literatures are analyzed to collect secondary data. Data collection or systems design methods Both quantitative and qualitative data are collected from the literate review and interview to prepare the project proposal outline (Cheng et al., 2015). Ethical Issues · Favouritism as well as prejudice · Not following all the safety standards and needful measures · Accepting blame · Conflict of interest Compliance Requirements · Reducing all the legal challenges · Improvement of all the technical operations and safety · A better public relationship · Higher employee retention Project Plan Deliverables The deliverables for the project are provided below (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017): · Project Blogs · Project Schedule · Poster · Project Budget Work breakdown structure (WBS) Risk Analysis In order to analyze the risks the different risk response strategies those are required include: · Risk acceptance: The risks in the system are to be accepted and identified so that they can be avoided in the near future (Williams, 2017). The major risk identified are bad weather troubles, hardware damages and the connection problems. · Risk mitigation: The identified risks in the projects are to be mitigated so that the efficiency of the system is maintained and the mitigation policy of the risk is to be formulated. · Risk resolution: The risks identified in the system are to be resolved so that the faults arising in the system can be reduced to a greater extent. Duration The project is to be completed within 164 days which starts on 18-07-2019 and ends on 03-03-2020. Introduction to Research Domain
This project was undertaken for assessing and identifying the overall effectiveness concerning drones as part of the proposed delivery system for use in e-commerce, the identification and review of various issues with respect to the proposed delivery system for use in e-commerce, and the estimation of implementation costs relating to the proposed delivery system for use in e-commerce.
Research Question
In addressing these above inclusion criteria for the project, the specific project criteria with respect to this project can be stated in the following manner – How will the technical viability for shortest time delivery with respect to the proposed drone delivery system for use in e-commerce will be measured? How can this proposed drone delivery system for use in e-commerce maximize the overall throughput within the context of e-commerce systems? and What shall be the key set of benefits that any e-commerce company shall gain on account of the deployment concerning this proposed drone delivery system for use in e-commerce operations?
Literature Review
The said ecosystem shall essentially be comprising of the various drone manufacturers, charging stations, battery, devices, landing pads, as well as software to enable co-ordination of air traffic, drone recovery / safety, relevant drone insurance for policing as well as license plates. Further drone manufacturers shall focus to an increasing extent over building the drones that are designed specifically to make deliveries (Krakowczyk et al., 2018; Cheng et al., 2019; Burduk et al., 2018; Ha, 2018). As has been noted in various literature, many of the prevailing drones can be stated to have been built to carry cameras and take pictures / videos instead of acting as transportation utility. Various leading companies in this domain shall burgeon as well as start to build out highly robust, longer lasting and faster drones which shall have the ability for carrying out major set of packages that ae lesser than specific weight for longer distance (Krakowczyk et al., 2018; Cheng et al., 2019; Burduk et al., 2018; Ha, 2018). The manufacturers shall accompany these drones manufacturing by way of batteries that are longer lasting, for carrying the drones from one place to another and then back from the hub towards the final destination (Krakowczyk et al., 2018; Cheng et al., 2019; Burduk et al., 2018; Ha, 2018). The relevant charging pads shall also be manufactured as well as built out over the areas that are highly trafficked enabling the drones for stopping as well as charging along the routes of flight (Krakowczyk et al., 2018; Cheng et al., 2019; Burduk et al., 2018; Ha, 2018). As drones turn out to be highly commercial as well as business focussed, as well as the concerned regulatory bodies issues relevant rules, software as well as devices for enforcing the various rules shall require in being built in within the drones for purposes of respect, altitude, speed, allowed routing with respect to drones as well as land towards drone communication for directing them, or else divert them over the allowed directions (Krakowczyk et al., 2018; Cheng et al., 2019; Burduk et al., 2018; Ha, 2018). Larger and bigger technology companies akin to Amazon, Google, etc. shall develop abilities for entering as well as setting the overall standards with respect to the overall communication amongst the varied drones as well as software / device manufactures shall have the ability for building over top of the said standards (Krakowczyk et al., 2018; Cheng et al., 2019; Burduk et al., 2018; Ha, 2018). The Companies which work with respect to drone safety shall have the ability for adding the ways for preventing stronger levels of crashes concerning drones with respect to the mechanical failures. The companies as well as technicians who repair the drones shall possess vibrant form of business as well as the insurance shall require in being adapted for insuring the drones in the range of specific budget (Krakowczyk et al., 2018; Cheng et al., 2019; Burduk et al., 2018; Ha, 2018). The insurance against the failures shall aid in fixing of drones, the respective batteries, or else concerned landing pads, with overall costs concerning the replacement shall need in going lower for purposes of having the replacement in being the viable solution with respect to the concerned businesses (Krakowczyk et al., 2018; Cheng et al., 2019; Burduk et al., 2018; Ha, 2018).
In essence, drones shall eventually will become successful to offer last mile based delivery services on account of three very important reasons, that is, cost element, value...
