Developing and implementing a nursing diagnosis could help the nurses to determine the plan of care concerning their patients. Further, it would be essential to understand that these nursing diagnoses could drive possible interventions, which might be required for family, patient as well as the community. The North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA) mentioned that a nursing refers to the process of clinical judgment concerning individual’s family, friends, community as well as other members associated with the patient and their actual or potential health issues. Further, they also presented that nursing diagnosis provides the required basis for selection of the nursing interventions in order to achieve the outcomes for which nurses are accountable. Nursing diagnosis could emerge as an essential tool, which promotes patient safety by utilizing available evidence based research.
