To check the gender bias in the organization in term of allotment of jobs shifts. We can do
the chi-square test of independence as both the variables are categorical variables. The output is given as follows:
As the expected value of one cell is less than 5. So, we will apply continuity correction. From the second table, the value of test-statistic corresponding to continuity correction is 3.230 and the p-value is 0.072. Which is greater than the level of significance 0.05. Thus, the null hypothesis is not rejected. Hence, we can say that there is no bias in the allotment of jobs in terms of gender.

Consider all the scale variables age, length of service, stress, job opportunities, participation and job involvement as independent variable and organizational commitment as dependent variable and multiple regression model is developed using the SPSS.
