Please use the table I have filled up in pencil to make the two graphs. For the first table ignore the gas levels when making the graph. Please make well labelled graph with trendines. And answer the three questions in red ink in the first file. Thanks

Using Excel do a line of best fit for each data set and have the equation for that line show on the graph. Take the slope of each line, “m” in y=mx+b and put it in Table 2. Insert calculations for fermentation rates here: Table 2 – Fermentation Rates for Different Carbohydrates Carbohydrate Type Fermentation Rate (mL CO2/min) Use the data from Table 2 to create Graph 2. Analyzing the Data • Graph the cumulative CO2 volume data with time in minutes. Graph all 5 data sets on Graph 1. (Remember to use TAILS.) • The fermentation rate (in ml CO2 per minute) can be determined by calculating the slope of the line. Use Excel to determine the line of best fit through your data • Calculate the slope of each line to determine fermentation rate for each carbohydrate and distilled water. • Once the fermentation rate for each carbohydrate is determined record the data in Table 2 and make a graph comparing fermentation rate vs carbohydrate type. Fill in the tables above and insert graphs 1 and 2 here: What is your overall hypothesis for the experiment? Does the data support or disprove your hypothesis? If your data doesn’t support your hypothesis, what would be an alternative hypothesis that is supported by the data? Adapted from: Reinking, L.N., Reinking, J.L. and K.G. Miller 1994.
