Background: You are a Problem Resolution Officer. Your supervisor recently assigned you file to review that was request from a client about a delay in receiving his income tax refund. This file had previously been started by a colleague of yours who went on leave unexpectedly. The client for this company has phoned you directly with the following concerns:

• The client is upset with the behaviour of the previous Officer that was working on his file.


• The client indicates that the previous Officer was not professional and asked inappropriate questions that demonstrated their lack of knowledge about income tax refunds.


• The client indicates the previous Officer was unable to explain why he had not yet received his refund.


• The client also stated that the previous Officer took records without permission. He considers this stealing and wants to file a service complaint.

The explanation needs to be in narrative form using complete sentences. Please do not make any assumptions or make up new information.
