The closure of all institutions and spaces essential for a child's social, psychological and emotional development negatively impacted the childcare process and early childhood development. The socioeconomic conditions of the families determine the overall well-being and vulnerability of the children to the pandemic effects. Therefore, the responses of various families and children were diverse. Professional childcare service providers' strength-based and family-centred approaches can support families and children in such unprecedented circumstances.
