A. Summary
In this section of your report, you will summarize the contents of the body of the report. Make sure you identify the different pieces that you will be referring to throughout your report. To give the reader a clear idea of what kinds of information they will find in the report, make sure you address the content covered by each heading. End with an overall statement about how you have demonstrated growth as a learner throughout this course.
E. Application
In this section of the report, you will discuss the ways in which you can use the knowledge, skills, and strategies you developed in this class outside of this class. In this section you must make specific reference to at least three of the four items in your portfolio. Identify the knowledge, skills, and strategies that you think will be the most useful for you in your future. For example, how might your knowledge of the audience, purpose, structure, and voice of a business letter help you prepare a cover letter for a job you are interested in? How might your listening skills help you deal with a difficult customer at work?
