Problem: Design and build a 4-bar hinge mechanism for a system similar to an automotive hood showed in figure 1. Figure 1: a six bar mechanism automotive hood mechanism In the Figure 1, one link is formed by the side of the engine compartment. Two additional links (2 and 3) are joined to the engine compartment by revolute joints. These links are outlined in pink and light blue. The revolute joints that connect links 2 and 3 to the engine compartment are shown by small pink/white ellipses circled in yellow. The other revolute joints are shown by small pink/white ellipses. The fourth link is the yellow link that is joined to the white and blue links. The fifth link is the light green link that is connected to the hood and link 3 by revolute joints. Finally, the sixth link is the hood itself (not shown in this figure). It is connected to the blue and green links by revolute joints
