Clague’s Biography
Joyce Clague is an international activist who has addressed racism and discrimination throughout her life. She went through bullying in her childhood by the society and the surroundings, which made her to opt for being a civil rights activist. She fought for the rights of the Indigenous people in Australia.
At present, Clague is 80 years old and she has survived two strokes. This has not demotivated Clague, she still has the urge to fight for the civil rights of the Indigenous people of Australia and provide them justice (NEWS, 2018). In her teenage years, Joyce went to study nursing in Sydney and became a member of the Aborigines Progressive Society.
