Given the three probability axioms and the properties already
proved, prove the complement property P(A¯) = 1 − P(A). An
outline of the proof is written below.
(a) Write the sample space S as the union of the sets A and A¯.
(b) Apply Axiom 3.
(c) Apply Axiom 2.
