Introduction
Background
    The two codes of conduct to be discussed in this work are the ACAP Students code of Conduct and the ACA code of ethics. The ACAP code is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for the students. The main purpose of the code is to empower, encourage the students, and promote the professional and personal developments systems for the students (Mahmudah, 2019). The code sets a standard within which the students need to conduct themselves. The students are also expected to feel the code of ethics and conduct themselves to maintain the state standard. The ACS code, on the other hand, is focused on providing ethical guidance to the professional counsellors. The code generally guides the counsellors to have relevant ethical considerations.
Main points
    The main points to be discussed in this are a comparative analysis of the two codes the ACAP Student Code of Conduct and the ACA Code of Ethics. The codes will be compared against each other to find out the similarities and the differences between the two lines of thought and principles. The codes will then be objectified and one of the codes will be chosen to find out the best principles that can be attached to it for the development of the conduct.
Outline and purpose of ethics code
    The ethical code is mainly used to address some obligations of a person for a particular work. For example, ethical codes restrict some actions by the employees such as insider trading by the employees etc (Kaplan et al., 2017). In this work, the concept of ethics will guide the sourcing of the information and the understanding of the principles of codes to be discussed in the work.
Similarities between ACAP Student Code of Conduct and ACA Code of Ethics
    Both the codes are based on the similar principles of ethics one deals with the students and the other one deals with the professionals. The system of ethics has a basis of moral ground, which is similar in all types of scenarios and is more commonly the same under every law that guides the ethical policy (Guerin, 2020). In this case, both the Australian policies for students and professionals have some basic similarities managing for its purpose, responsibility, privacy, resolving issues and in relation with others.

    The main purpose of the code of conduct is to establish a standard which the students need to maintain in line with the Code of conducts

    Respecting the privacy of other students and staff, behaving in a manner that does not affect the freedom of others and the members of the NPI community in order to pursue their studies, activities and duties
