Purpose:This assignment will give you an opportunity to reflect upon your own personal history with religion and spirituality, as well as acquaint you with the course textbook.

Assignment Instructions

In 2 double-spaced pages,discuss the following topics:

• Familial religious, spiritual, or non-religious background


• The religious, spiritual, or non-religious tradition you personally subscribeto


• 2-3reasons why you subscribe to this particular belief system


• Share a formative experience that helped to solidify or even challenge your religious, spiritual, or non-religious beliefs


• Do you think that you have established autonomy/independencefrom the faith of your parents/grandparents? Why/why not?


• Do you think that your beliefs have evolved since entering college? Why/why not?

Your reflection should quote this week's reading on 2-3 occasions.

Formatting Instructions

• Times New Roman font, 12 pt.size,standard margins (1 inch), double-spaced
