The administrator for the state’s juvenile justice system has asked you to examine the data from the department’s risk assessment instrument to see if it accurately predicts youths’ risk to reoffend. In the wake of the COVID pandemic, there have been concerns about the proper implementation of health and safety guidelines in prisons in your state. You decide to fully examine this at the prison with the largest virus outbreak in the state. The local school board is interested in determining whether parents at each elementary, middle, and high school in the district are in favor of offering virtual options for their children to attend school. Your results need to be representative of parents across the district and by school level. Below are six research scenarios.
