Question 1
Technology has become a core aspect of Education. It now goes hand in hand as students use technology from their classes to assignments. This change has solidified even more during the pandemic. Techn
ology has been a double-edged sword as along with its benefits, there have been many negatives. The companies have their structure modified and changed due to the new digital technology addition (Cetinkaya, 2017). This has also had a major impact on education, as the students now have to be trained to handle the business's digital aspects. It also changes the knowledge required for the business world and understanding of how the competition operates.
The first challenge that has come is the social inequalities in education. This often comes with the problem of not all children having the same level of education. This could mean universities like AOU may provide the digital aspects of education (Jääskelä, Häkkinen, and Rasku-Puttonen, 2017). But other universities that may not have the infrastructure may not have the means to train students to use technology to understand business operations. This leads to discrepancy in training processes. Entry-level students have varying digital literacy levels, which is difficult when the company is designing the training process.
The second challenge that comes is the constant evolution in technology. This means the education system has to constantly update and change due to how business is evolving on the side (Serdyukov, 2017). This constant need to check-in and update the curriculum according to the newer technology. This also is a huge problem when it comes to training.
The third challenge is it it's the heavy reliance on technology and less on social interaction. This challenge is particularly alarming as many organisations have faced many problems when technology hasn't worked (Jääskelä, Häkkinen, and Rasku-Puttonen, 2017). Employees are unable to do tasks when the technology isn’t there to support them. In the education system, this focus on technology reduces the abilities students have in order areas. It also puts less spotlight on the social abilities of students. Students aren't concentrating on furthering their social abilities. The students' social communication skills are decreasing in the process, and thus they face serious challenges in case of building strong cognitive skills vases that can help them in the future. This is harmful when they turn employees as they are unable to interact with stakeholders, and the lack of these skills impacts organisational growth. This reduces the ability of employees to make meaningful relations.
Question 2
Firm Strategy, Structure and Rivalry
The theory states that the national context in which the companies are organised and managed helps them build world-class industry in the sector. For the motion picture industry in the US has been instrumental, the industry's companies faced strong rivalry among each other, which prompted them to have more organised culture (Kharub and Sharma, 2017). This also helped the first to develop and company against each to outplay one another. The...
