Question #1 Explain the meaning of symmetry and pointing by supporting your explanation with an example that presents the types of these measures of shape. Normal distribution Z value Variable random Mathematical model Individual scores of the normal distribution Explain the meaning of area under the curve and its practical use with the normal distribution model. Justify the use of the empirical rule to analyze the results of the Z values. Use a word processor, such as Word, to complete the Assignment. Include bibliographic references in the writing. QUESTION #3 The mean of a normal probability distribution is 500; the standard deviation is 10. Between which pair of values are about 68% of the observations located? Between which pair of values are about 95% of the observations located? Between which pair of values almost all of the observations fall? The Rivera family has twins, Rosa and María. They both graduated from college two years ago and currently each earn $ 50,000 annually. Maria works in the retail industry, where the median salary for executives with less than five years of experience is $ 35,000, with a standard deviation of $ 8,000. Rosa is an engineer. The median salary for engineers with less than five years of experience is $ 60,000, with a standard deviation of $ 5,000. Find the Z-values for Rosa and Maria, and comment on the results. Question1:
Ans: Symmetry is nothing but the dividing the data into two equal parts that is negative and positive parts with respect to th
e mid value. If the values are equally spread on the right and left sides respect to the mid value or some point then we called it as symmetry.
Example: Height of the people follows the normal distribution. That means most of the people height will lie at midpoint only few people height will be low or high.
Normal distribution:
    Normal distribution is continuous family distribution which is having the mean=median=mode. That means the midpoint of the distribution is any measure of means, median and mode. The distribution follows normal curve or it will give bell shaped curve. The normal distribution is important in statistics because it is the assumption for many of the tests in statistics.
Z value:
    The Z score is also called as standard score because it will standardize the raw score to the normal form. Z score will help us to find where the raw score lie in the graph that mean is it in right side of mean or left side of means and also helpful to find the probabilities.
Z = X-µ/ σ
Here x =raw score, µ= population mean, σ=population standard deviation
Variable random:
    Random variable is nothing but it will depend on the outcome of the random experiment. It may say that combination of random values or random outcomes. For example number of heads will occur when we do 30 flips.
