    STUDY PURPOSE:
Was the purpose and/or research question stated clearly?
FORMCHECKBOX
yes
FORMCHECKBOX
no

Outline the purpose of the study and/or research question.
1) The purpose was to assess the feasibility of a novel intensive task-specific intention from the perspective of patients who suffer from chronic stroke.
    LITERATURE:
Was relevant background literature reviewed?
FORMCHECKBOX

Describe the justification of the need for this study. Was it clear and compelling?
Thejustification is mainly a humanitarian approach. Persons suffering from chronic stroke with no optimic future about recovery are reducedof their sufferings temporarily by certain therapies in the form newly invented. These would help them to enjoy a temporary period and come out of their anxiety, depression and suffering.
It was clear in the way that each step how it was done was explained and harmful effects were studied and kept to bare minimum.
Compelling in the sense it mitigates the suffering of certain patients of chronic disease.

How does the study apply to your practice and/or to your research question? Is it worth continuing this review?

Yes, this study applies to the practice of the medical practitioners. Once this therapy is found to be helpful for chronic stroke patients, this can be extended to other patients as a whole who suffer andalso duration can be extended keeping into account the condition of the patient, the enjoyment they receive, etc.
It is worth continuiing the review because number of chronic stroke patients in the world as a whole are very high and this sort of therapy would be helpful to all those sufferers.

_     _____________
Was the design appropriate for the study question? (i.e., rationale) Explain.
Here the design used was a phenomenal approach to qualitative enquiry.
The feasibility of an intensive intervention, indepth, semi structured interviews were used. Using these interviews, the particpants' perspectives and experiences individually were captured.
Thus it was assured though qualitative, a clear perception was recorded by explaining the categories and asking the patient to come out openly by repeating the questions in different ways and assessing the correct records.
    Was a theoretical perspective identified?
FORMCHECKBOX

Describe the theoretical or philosophical perspective for this study e.g., researcher’s perspective.
The researcher used multiple methods of making the patient climb the stairs, move the limbs in different direction, giving muscular exercises in various ways.
And each time, the patient's experience and perception was recorded thus making the study very accurate and reliable.
The researcher's purpose of the study was to study the effects of new way of therapy and this was done by testing patients individually with different forms of exercises.
