Ethical theories and concepts always helped the researchers and business organizations for identifying the problems and it also
helped for identifying the solution for the problems. While analysing the ethical theories and insights shared by the great thinkers Aristotle, Socrates and Plato we will get different ideas about our life. In this research paper, we are critically analysing the Nicomachean Ethics book, by Aristotle (translated by William Ross) and we are also analysing the different perception shared by Aristotle in a detailed way.
1.0 Assumptions of Aristotle Approach
Actions deal with particulars and the goals of ethics are practical are two fundamental assumptions of Aristotle's approach to ethics. The action of one person helps for understanding his ethical behaviour and ethics are practical, it is connected to the day to day life of a person
2.0 Politics and Ethics and Purpose of Studying Ethics
According to the words of Aristotle, there is a strong connection between politics and ethics, both subjects are related but we have to consider it as a separate field of study. While analysing the book we can understand that ethics helps for understanding the right or wrong behaviour of the individual. Politics helps in examining the good practices followed by society. Politics is required for implementing ethical laws and practices (Pangle 2018,p.569). For developing a good political community, we required laws and threat of punishment. “The grandest expression of ethical virtue requires great political power because it is the political leader who is in a position to do the greatest amount of good for the community”. While analysing this statement from the book we can understand that there exists a close relationship between politics and ethics

According to the words of Aristotle, the purpose of studying ethics is to understand the behavioural patterns of the individual and it also helps for understanding the ultimate purpose of human life.
