My workday in 2040 looks very different thanks for the fundamental shifts of generations and demographics. Today, we have implementation of technologies for every single task, thereby bringing more efficiencies in operations and activities. Majority of blue-collar jobs are automated and robots are present to perform every minor or major repetitive task. I am aren’t forced to come to office in order to complete my job, rather with the incorporation of technologies as well as application of hybrid work-culture it has made work quiet flexible. We only visit office if there is requirement of any physical interactions like in meetings or any engagement events. In 2040, people are driven more towards performance at the end of day rather than investing any time in office politics. Furthermore, nothing at work is stable rather everything is consistently changing at a much faster rate than ever before. Hence, employees including myself consistently upskill ourselves and upgrade our knowledge with the know-how of latest technologies. There is lot of uncertainties present in the industry which demands that employee base to invest time in their learning and growth. Hence, during my office hours I also take out time from my busy schedule to learn about new technologies as well as keeping myself abreast with the market. Moreover, I have many team members who belong to different cultures and comes from various ethnicities like few of my team members are from China, India, Singapore etc. In fact, we are one team but we work from different locations yet we speak to each other...
