Read the Silver Star Mines case study in Chapter 14 (p. 507) and the follow-up information in Chapter 15 (p. 529). Pay particular attention to the problems in which some of the management controls we've discussed could be put in place to deal with potential incidents described in the study.
Select one of the risks in the implementation plan depicted in Table 15.5 and post your extension of the table. Includeinformation such as resource requirements, identification of roles and responsibilities, notional timelines for implementation, and key measures that would be required to effectively monitor progress towards desired outcomes.
Assess at least two other individual's posts. Critically analyze their submissions and offer constructive feedback aboutthe strengths and weaknesses you find. Engage in constructive dialogue on any challenges you perceive, i.e. unrealistic schedule, resource problems, ineffective or impractical measures of success, etc.
