This week, I have gathered knowledge about theory, assessment and instructional technology. Instructional technology is the outcome developed from the use of learning theory and instructional design model. Instructional technology is profoundly used in the normal work and home life concerning its benefits which, implies that instructional technology can improve the learning process. Today, the use of technology is widespread in all the areas whether it is the school, offices or colleges. The access to computers has become easier, which results in digital devices reducing the usage of pen and papers. The instructional technology implies the theory and practice of using technology for education. As a student instructional technology will help me in interactive collaboration, active learning, social learning as well as the project-based learning. It has made the collaborative education easier and affordable to be carried from home also (Embi & Graham, 2011).
