Reflecting on the Role Played by Ethics Group Work Practices
Ethics are principles that govern the behavior of a person or group in a business environment. Like values, even, professional ethics provide rules on how a person should act towards other people and institutions in such an environment. Ethics are quintessential for building reputation and for the professional to obtain work and survive in a competitive landscape (Sabir, Tahir Naved & Khan, 2019). The relationships are more fruitful when they characterized by a certain moral quality. Ethics not only affects ourselves but also environment, in which group works (Tusinski Berg, 2017).
A successful group work depends upon the ethical code of conduct. Role of ethic in a group work is necessary; it allows all the members of the group to learn from each other. Someone who does not know right from wrong, well from bad, will find himself hard put socially. These ethical rules would help every member of the group to direct his/her hard work to attain the goal of the group stated. Without ethical behavior in particular, one cannot relate in a reasonable way to oneself and nor to others (Alwi, Ali & Nguyen, 2017).
