Introduction
From my initial years of business education, I have studied global supply chain management and its related information including the global logistics business that is related to it. In this reflection, the learnings of global supply chain management and logistics business will be analyzed to understand how the online method of learning is different from the offline method of learning. I will also provide a brief analysis on the improvements that can be made in this method of teaching and the teaching of supply chain management will be discussed.
Reflection On Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics
From the learning material I have learned several new things about supply chain management and how it works for international business policies. Supply chain management is a representation of a chain management system where suppliers have developed and implemented businesses that are connected with one another in order to create an efficient economical service for any type of business policy (Tönnissen & Teuteberg 2020). I have also understood from the writings of Attaran, how the use of supply chain management has helped in lessening the overall task of maintaining a business because the supply chain management creates a link between the production its shipment, and overall distribution of a product or service (Attaran 2017). According to my, this is a very smart and intelligent idea to be created and from the point of view of a businessman, it can help in cutting down a lot of Texas cost for delivering products in different parts of the world.
I believe that globalisation has created better exposure for many business policies and it has also created opportunities for different products to be delivered at different and geographical locations. From this analysis, I have understood that companies can initiate these supply chain management policies in order to work in a better way and faster way to reach their customers (Lawrence et al. 2019). The learning has helped me to understand certain criteria of a business policy and how supply and distribution work within International Logistics (Treiblmaier 2019). As a student of business management, I have understood how to control the internal inventions and distributions at a beginner level so that they can be later implemented for the advantage of better distribution of the product in the international market.
