1: Introduction
Statement of Research Topic
Aging comes with age but it has lot to do with psychological, physical and emotional aspects. The reason behind these changes, the need to be understood and urge to find a company, belongingness to a community become essential requirement at that phase of life (Diamond & Jaye, 2020). These problems play a bigger role when an individual is not able to control or have little influence over their ability to deal with them.
Brief Description about Topic
When different changes happen in life, people face challenges in dealing with them. These can be mental, emotional and physically taxing. At this point of time, they need people around to understand these changes and behave accordingly with us (Marsack & Perry, 2018). The stages of widowhood and retirement create more tense circumstances leading to the feeling of loneliness.

2: Literature Review
Community and Social Support
The need for community in an individuals’ life cannot be ignored. This brings people from different backgrounds close to each other and they give a sense of belonging. It supports perpetual growth of individual and our environment. According to Gallardo-Peralta, Mayorga Munoz and Soto Higuera (2020), it is the safest place to share knowledge and foster collective creativity. It connects to the relationship, which the people develop within social framework.
Communities can be interest specific, related to particular place, dealing with changes of life, encouraging healthy practices to be followed in daily routine. It helps us to share the sorrows, feelings and best moments with one another as well as make them feel good about themselves. Similarly, social support extends its arms to enhance the quality of life and acts as a buffer in adverse conditions. It gives strength to fight with circumstances. For example, aged people can have supports standing with us during difficult times.
As supported by Marsack and Perry (2018), they share same thoughts, likes, opinions and even interests. Social support systems also help in dealing with anxiety, depression and reduction of stress.
