Human service workers typically have an objective to meet the need of an individual. The code of ethics applies in my career as a lead juvenile justice case manager and, hopefully, future director. It ensures that the clients and families I serve feel respected and understand their rights are protected. I will defend their rights by ensuring that all information is kept confidential and that they are informed of any changes in their plan. I will respect all cultures and beliefs while ensuring I'm knowledgeable about diversity. I will keep a client worker boundary in place to avoid any biases or misinterpretations that could cause the organization legal issues.

I will continue to advocate for my clients and put service above self-interest. I will follow the do no harm ethical standard by keeping a professional stance and following the organization's laws, policies and procedures. My code of ethics shows that integrity is critical in building relationships within and outside the organization. The code of ethics displays professionalism and a standard to help avoid any issues regarding the rights of others and the misconduct of an employee. The principle of ethics appears to be a road map for promoting equity and diversity through professional standards. The code of ethics reminds everyone that there must be equal opportunity for all the individuals we serve and that our job is to help promote change. I would apply the utilitarian approach of ethics in doing what's best for the most significant number of people with the least harm (Santa Clara University Markkula Center for Applied Ethics,2009).

Thanks,

Renalta

Code of conduct is defined as a set of guidelines that identifies rules, customs, and behaviors of an individual, group, or organization. These guidelines resemble expected behaviors. These behaviors clarify values (Bernstein, 2022). Codes of conduct are implemented by an organization to ensure these expected behaviors. In the field of psychology, privacy and confidentiality are essential. Psychologists have an obligation to protect confidential information from many areas in the field from research to counseling.

The population of youth I work with now have specific mental health needs and many have been through the juvenile justice system. My specialization is in criminology and justice studies. I have chosen to continue working with this specific population of youth at this time. Their privacy and confidentiality are important for many reasons. It protects the youth. It also helps gain trust and rapport with the youth and maintain a professional relationship.

The American Psychological Association has included ethical standards that reach many areas including counseling, teaching of psychology, research, development of assessment instruments, social intervention, organizational consulting, policy development, educational counseling, evaluation, and administration. Work-related conduct requires personal commitment by all. Those involved with this field are to promote honesty, accuracy, and truthfulness (APA, 2022). The ethics code has been designed to implement a way of behavior not just how to conduct yourself, and business however but also how to treat the individuals you may be working with. Other ethical codes include sexual harassment, conflict of interest, avoiding harm, and discrimination. All these standards are important to protect the professional and those the individuals you are working with.

The juvenile justice system also has their own codes of conduct especially those involving physical intervention including restraints and chemical restraints. These ethical codes help limit violence and physical harm (Dempsey, 2020). It is also important during these times to continue to give the individual dignity and uphold their individual rights.

I
agree to the speaker who is a juvenile justice case manager and how his job works. A code of conduct is a bunch of guidelines that frames the standards and ways of behaving of an individual, a gathering, or an association (Alizadeh, Dirani & Qiu, 2020). These principles reflect acknowledged lead. An association executes sets of principles to ensure these normal ways of behaving. Classification and protection are critical in the investigation of brain science. Caseworkers have an obligation to defend private information from various expert fields, including guiding and research. The adolescent equity framework has its own standards of conduct, especially for activities requiring actual restriction, for example, binding or compound limitation. These ethical rules help in lessening viciousness and injury. Also, it's basic to keep up with the singular's nobility and shield their freedoms during these difficult times. I completely agree on the facts that the speaker emphasizes on like keeping client and worker relations separate and straight in its own course. I would do...
