1500 words essay. Students are to suggest a program and or intervention for the Australian government to trial that addresses their chosen problem (Homelessness) The essay will consist of three parts 1. Discussion of the causes and consequences of the social problem 2. The application of the sociological theory to explain the behaviour (conflict theory) 3. Explanation of the proposed program and or intervention and justification/evidence of the program and interventions effectiveness from empirical research. I have attached the instructions and a sample of how the teacher would like the essay set out. I’ve also added the marking criteria. The sociological theory I have chosen is conflict theory.
