Introduction
    Fast fashion industry has a fatal impact on the nature. Fast fashion industry is the second largest polluter in the world after the oil industry. The harm on the nature is prolonging proportionally with the growth of the fast fashion industry. The market of the fast fashion industry is seeking to produce more of inexpensive clothes in less time as worldwide customers are more eager to buy inexpensive clothes than expensive ones. This mass production of clothes of the fast fashion industry cause hazardous effects on the environment. These clothes can cause resource pollution and waste pollution because one day these clothes will be thrown out when the fashion trend will be fade away. The thrown out clothes are disposed or burned into the landfills therefore, the decomposed clothes release green house gas such as methane and the burned clothes release carbon dioxide, which cause harm to the nature. In this assignment, we will study about the environmental impacts of the fast fashion industry.

The impact of environmental consideration is prominent on the fashion industry as its struggling to maintain its profitability in the context of environmental issues. The fast fashion industries are trying hard to use nature friendly and biodegradable elements in their garments to save the nature from being polluted and to maintain environmental regulations.

Pollution of Water
Most of the textiles producing countries, where environmental laws are not strict are dumping unrefined wastewater of the textile factories direct into the rivers. As opined by Zamani et al., wastewaters of the textile industries contain poisonous elements such as mercury, lead, arsenic and many more. These poisonous elements can harm hydrophytes and aquatic animals of the rivers and can also be harmful for the people living by the banks of the rivers. The pollution also reaches up to the seas and spread over worldwide ultimately. The fertilizers used for the production of cotton in textile industries also pollute the water.
Huge Consumption of Water
