Safe work environments, fair wages, abuse of child labor, and unfair treatment of workers are all topics that are unfortunately in the news all too often. Previously, these were problems or issues that were in present in the United States. Fortunately, the legal system and regulations, for the most part, have made these issues a thing of the past. However, in many foreign countries, these problems still exist. Societies are bound to repeat their mistakes if they do not learn from the past. Therefore, research the Internet and the library for two countries where workers have experienced human rights violations or violations of labor laws.

safe work practices as it is beneficial for both the parties. But, still there are some nations which 
are far away from them. According to reports published on the site of Human Rights 
Organization (2011), Cambodia and Malaysia are struggling with major issues of safety at work 
place. The central governments of these two nations are failed to regulate both recruiters as well 
as employers to follow strict rules in favor of safe work environment. Majority of domestic 
workers in these two countries are exposed to innumerable abuses (HRO, 2011).  Domestic 
labors in Cambodia and Malaysia have very little protection against heavy debt burdens, forced 
confinement in training centers, and exploitative working conditions.  
This is not only with the case of domestic workers; the situation is similar with the 
factory employees as well as other workers.
