  3. An overview of the challenges that a person living with this condition may face - this will provide background information about how the person may present to services, the symptoms they may complain of and how these symptoms affect their daily life.

  4. A description of relevant Recovery focussed nursing interventions to assess the needs of the person and assist the person and their family to understand the condition and develop effective strategies to support the person’s recovery.

  5. An outline one current Australian service initiative designed to improve care and reduce the impact of this health condition.

All students are expected to dress in casual but professional clothing when filming the Video presentation. The Video can be filmed on ZOOM, a phone or any other suitable device. The Video will then be uploaded to YouTube on an UNLISTED setting and the URL will be written correctly on the pre-developed template for this assessment found on vUWS with the PointPoint Slides

1. Introduction
The main aim of the presentation is to develop an understanding of what might be the life of people who are suffering from major illness in their lives. Although somehow they are managing to live their life but it is not the option left. The chosen topic of the illness in Australia is major depressive disorder, which is the serious mental illness that affects the thinking capacity of the people and even affects their everyday life.
This condition is very critical if more concern is not shown to such people. The current study will outline the practise and develop the presentation and oral communication skills by covering different parts of study. Furthermore, it will more emphasise on the issue that major depression disorder with its statement of incidence. In addition to that, it will seek address to the challenges that is faced by the person regarding this mental health issue providing background information of symptoms that affect daily life.
Similarly, it will explain the relevant focussed recovery intervention of the nursing that assess the needs and assist the person itself under this critical condition. Finally, it will outline the current Australian service designed to enhance the care and deviating such impact.

Major depression disorder is the mood disorder that can be caused with the feeling of loss of interest and sadness. It totally affects the person’s health, the way they think and lead to the variety of physical or emotional problems. The depression can be occurred by having the trouble doing every day activity or sometimes the person even feel that they are not worth living. Major depressive disorder (MDD) afflicts an envisioned 16% to 20% of the population in the course of their lifetime (Putnam et al., 2017).
