(Also known as The Flapper). The writings of F. Scott Fitzgerald and other writers known as the “lost generation,” wrote about this very iconic time period. It was a decade where decadence and self-indulgence were in the forefront of most American’s time and energy. In fact, gossip columns and a fanaticism with movie and radio stars also began during this decade as well. It was a time of immense prosperity, with most Americans unaware of the economic disaster that was on the horizon.
