In general, selection can be regarded as the procedure of identifying as well as hiring the applicants to fill up the vacancies in a company. Furthermore, selection of the employee is also the procedure in terms of matching the requirements of a company with the qualifications and skills of the people.
The two common selection methods that are considered for carrying out this study are face to face interview method and the situational judgment test.
The face-to-face interview method can be also regarded as the in-person interview and it is the oldest as well as a popular form of survey data collection. With the help of the face-to-face, an interviewer has the ability to capture the non-verbal and verbal and questions. However, this selection method also requires the individuals to respond to accurately predetermined questions.
