– Shark Tank Project Pitch (PowerPoint with voice and/or video)
Once you have an idea approved (85% or higher), you’ll need to be able to sell your idea, like making a presentation to a banker to get approval on a loan to finance your project, or to make a presentation on “Shark Tank”. For this assignment, you’ll create a short slide deck.
Selling the idea: Voice-annotated PowerPoint (5 slides with a play time of exactly 5 minutes) Protip: Infographics are a creative and often highly effective way to move ideas
Deliverable – REQUIREMENTS for Your Project Sales Pitch:
· created using PowerPoint and is visually impactful and spelling/grammar error free
· appropriate use of graphic art, including space and negative-space
· required one intro/title slide plus four body slides plus one concluding slide (6 slides total)
· describe the project in executive summary form
· add audio and/or video to each slide
· introduce yourself and your purpose on slide 1 (title slide)
· audio/video segment for each individual slide must be set to auto-play
· all aspects of your PowerPoint should work together to sell your idea
The purpose of this PowerPoint slide deck is to persuade the reader to become an “investor” or an advocate or a champion or your project. Get them to like the idea and commit to it. Get them excited about the opportunities your project makes possible. Get them to “sign-on”, whatever that means in the context of who they are relative to the project. If your project requires it, these “investors” might actually be contributing funds towards completing this project.
