THEORIES AND PRACTICES IN BUSINESS COMMUNICATION
I have learned about three theories and practices of business communication such as Cognitive Dissonance theory, Communication Accommodation theory and Face Negotiation theory. The Cognitive Dissonance theory states that people are conscious about not experiencing dissonance because dissonance enhances psychological conflicts within them (Harmon-Jones & Mills, 2019). Therefore, according to the theory they should have to include their dissonant thoughts in their present belief to gain emotional equilibrium.
