Purell hand sanitisers are manufactured by GOJO Industries Inc., which also produces and market the skin care and hygiene products. It is one of the famous brand during pandemic, which gained popularity during pandemic. The company was founded by Goldie and Jerry Lippman in 1946 (GOJO, 2022).
It is a private limited company with facilities in Australia, Europe and America. The idea of studying hand sanitisers is taken as it is a booming market and expected to reach US $227 billion by 2023 (Fortune Business Insights, 2021). Due to demand at international level, the supply shortage is present in the market and supply chain disruptions are even noted.
